ANGELES— GPL Technologies Account Manager Ron Sabatino and
NVIDIA Senior Business Development Manager Media & Entertainment Michael Kaplan will discuss how virtualization is
rapidly reshaping visual effects production in a special NAB Show LIVE session
at the upcoming 2016 NAB Show. The
event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20th at 12:30pm and

Sabatino will host a
discussion with Kaplan on how groundbreaking
rendering technologies, such as NVIDIA® GRIDTM , are boosting
performance in virtual desktop infrastructures and making it possible for
artists to collaborate regardless of their geographic location. He will discuss
how Quadro VCA and Iray server allows artists to make faster design decisions.

Sabatino and Kaplan will be joined by Robert Whiting, an Art
Director and 3D Event Designer at Hawthorn, the award-winning, UK-based special
event studio. Hawthorn has used virtualization technology to produce
spectacular multi-media displays for conferences, art installations, concerts
and other live events.
