Veteran colorist, Anthony Raffaele, whose work includes Café Society, Mapplethorpe and Fahrenheit 11/9, has joined the finishing staff at Sim, New York.
Continuing to build the pool of talent at its post-production facility in New York, Sim has hired Lucie Barbier-Dearnley as senior colorist. Barbier arrives from Company 3, London, and brings expansive credits across features, episodic television and documentaries.
In a move to increase sustainability in film and television production, Sim is launching Urban Power Source, the largest, mobile, zero-emissions battery power packs available today built specifically for the entertainment industry.
Sim has completed a major expansion of its post production facility in New York City. Additions include three broadcast audio mix suites, one with Dolby Atmos capability, an ADR/VO recording studio, two broadcast color correcting bays and an online editorial finishing bay.
